Designed by MLH Architects & Planners, New Court at Steenberg
seeks to add something novel to the valley

New Court at SteenbergThe houses have been designed around a central living square with each house having a front ‘stoep’ and bay window overlooking the square. Adding to the ambience of this square are mature trees, high quality landscaping with benches and a central water feature. A series of arched walkways lead off the square to the garden walkways, including a gate with direct access to the adjacent Nature Reserve.

Each house has a seamless flow to a secluded terrace which overlooks the expansive garden setting and enjoy panoramic mountain and treed views. The architectural style of New Court at Steenberg draws on the language of the Cape Vernacular, with the inclusion of elements such as white walls, double pitch gables, plaster mouldings and sash windows. A large pool and poolhouse are situated in an enclosed garden setting adjacent to two mature oak trees.
